Calligram project

This is my calligram project! it took me a lot of trial and error to figure out how to get many of the textures and volumes that were in the photo. Now that I got feedback in class I can definitely see how the hair would need to be fixed and envelope distorted to add more textures. And i also see how i would need to fix the proportions of the face so that it looks more natural. I definitely enjoyed doing this work!
